Abstract

The article is devoted to the eight general scientific principles of conflicts research: determinism; development; universal connection; compliance with the laws of dialectics; the dialectical unity of theory, experiment and practice; system approach; specific historical approach; objectivity. Knowledge of a few principles can often compensate for the lack of knowledge of many specialities. The paper shows the application possibilities for each of the general scientific principles in the process of studying the conflicts. The article also describes the six methodological principles of Russian Conflictology: interdisciplinarity, succession evolutionism, personal approach, search the latent contents of the conflicts, the fight against evil in its conflict with the good. Dissertations on the issue of the conflict are defended in 17 sciences in Russia: Military; Geography; Art History; History; Cultural Studies; Medicine; Pedagogy; Political Science; Jurisprudence; Psychology; Sociobiology; Sociology; Engineering; Physics and Mathematics; Philology; Philosophy; Economy. Understanding and conflict management will be much more effective in the use with the achievements of these sciences. Many Russian conflictologists violate the principle of succession, ignoring or underestimating the results of the conflict study achieved by Russian scientists. The principle of evolutionism requires that conflictologist should have basic mac-roevolutionary knowledge of trends of the conflicts during the study of conflict interaction in general and analysis of specific conflicts in particular. Individual features of concrete persons involved in the conflict determine its development. Apart from the obvious situation, the most of conflicts have latent, secret and deeper meanings. Their understanding is necessary to regulate the conflict. Conflictologist cannot take an impartial position, studying the conflicts between the apparent good and evil.
