Development of controversy and intensity: Hegel, Мarx and modernity

Н. А. Вахнин

Abstract

The article analyzes the problems of intensive development and some aspects of the theory of contradiction. It evaluates ratio of the intensity of the concepts and controversies, changing intensity of the interaction of opposites in the process of developing contradictions. It offers an analysis of the fundamental aspects of the theory of contradictions, which are represented in the works of Hegel and Marx’s teachings. The intensity of development — a modern phenomenon, however, as emphasized, the holistic characteristics of intensive development paths, which are relevant not only for society, dates back to the writings of Karl Marx. Due to the fact that modern society has highlighted the special significance of methodological development related to the justification for particularly intensive way of development, the contradictions inherent in this way, attention is drawn to a new interpretation of the classic works of the founders of the doctrines. This approach allows us not only to update the classic texts, but also to identify the best ways to address a number of philosophical and methodological challenges facing modern science and practice, and to allow early detection of the contradictions and conflicts arising along the way. It is noted that, the pace, tensity by itself cannot give a comprehensive assessment of the intensity of the processes necessary to identify two trends of intensity in the development process: the positive, aimed at the improvement and progress of the system, and negative, leading to negative consequences in the development of the system, regardless of its typology. It is required for a developing system that the increase and decrease of pace or the ratio of positive and negative intensity with a certain tempo was at optimally functional state. By achieving highest tension system state operation, when at its maximum capacity the system keeps further progressive development, it is appropriate to characterize such state as «functional optimum intensity».
