Power and opposition in philosophy of Aristotle

Abstract


Problems of the interaction between power and opposition were the interest of a lot of researchers from outset of a state existence. Antique Greece is of interest of political researchers due to its political structure peculiarities. The papers of antique philosopher Aristotle are the rich source of not only theoretical but also practical knowledge in this situation. That happens because of author’s inclusion in political reality. His theoretical groundwork is reflected in further political papers during the history up to nowadays; that is why it is the top value for researching. The article is about the problem of the interaction between power and opposition in Aristotle’s conception and the role of revolution in this interaction.
